The Cottages is privileged to be able to select from the best caregivers in each community where we have assisted living homes. We conduct background checks and drug testing on all of our caregivers to assure the best possible care is provided to each resident. Every caregiver receives training when they join The Cottages and ongoing training throughout their length of service.

The number of caregivers

By limiting the number of residents to 16 in each home, The Cottages can provide a much higher ratio of caregiver to resident than larger facilities. This allows our caregivers to get to know each resident and provide a higher level of personal care.

The dedication of the administrator

The Cottages is proud to have an outstanding group of administrators who provide the guidance and oversight to the caregivers and staff at each of our locations. Our administrators epitomize compassion, dedication and professionalism.

The commitment of senior management

The Cottages senior management team is actively involved in the daily operations of all of our assisted living homes and is available by phone or email by any employee of the company. The team meets each week to discuss new issues and seeks to improve the care we provide to our residents and the environment we provide to our staff. Each month the senior management team meets with the administrators to talk about what can be done to further improve the level of care and the environment we provide for our residents and staff. Opportunities for improvement and additional training programs are shared with everyone in attendance. The administrators share ideas and solutions that serve to strengthen the entire team.
